This is the sequel to the bafflingly popular, exceptionally colorful 2011 animated feature “Rio”. Blu, Jewel and their three children – Coconut, Sapphire and Buddy live a happy life in the magical city Rio de Janeiro, but they do not know what Nigel still alive and wants revenge. When Jewel decides that their children need to learn to live like a real bird, she insists on an adventurous journey into the wilds of the Amazon River. There, trying to fit into a new environment, Blu begins to worry that he could lose Jewel and children going to the call of the wild.
